My iPhone 13 Pro Max unexpectedly restarted and went into recovery mode. Now, each time I try to exit recovery mode by force restarting or using tools like 3uTools and iMyFone, it just shows the Apple logo, then the screen goes black, and repeats the loop until the battery dies. I'm really worried because I have important files and photos that aren't backed up, and I really don't want to erase everything. Is there any way to fix this problem without restoring my device?

Unfortunately, when your phone is in recovery mode, you can't access it normally, which means restoration is often the only option. If your last backup was more than a day ago, I’m not sure there’s much else you can do, but you might want to check out some experts over at a data recovery forum for advice.
You might want to try updating your iPhone instead of restoring it through Finder or iTunes. Sometimes, if your storage is full, an update can free up space and help your phone boot up properly. But be careful; if your battery is drained or swelling, it may not fix the issue without a full restore later on.
I gave that a shot, but iTunes told me I need to restore it to factory settings instead of being able to update.
Thanks for the suggestion! I'll definitely look into it.
