I'm planning to build a PC for around $1000, primarily for game development and content creation, but I still want decent gaming performance. I've been hearing that AMD generally offers better price-to-performance for gaming, while Nvidia is superior for workstations and content creation tasks. With that in mind, is it worth investing in an Nvidia 4070 Super card, or should I go for the AMD equivalent to save some cash?

AMD cards are cheaper, but Nvidia is definitely better suited for development work. Just a heads up on that one!
If you're doing any 3D modeling or rendering, I'd suggest going with Nvidia. They have a lot of features that really help with those tasks.
If you're tight on budget, grab whatever's cheaper. At this price point, it might not make a huge difference.
I’m a big fan of AMD, but you have to recognize that a lot of software is optimized for Nvidia, and their GPUs tend to hold value better. Just something to consider if you're tight on budget!
Go for AMD if you're focused on gaming, but for anything else like Blender or Maya, Nvidia takes the lead. They also have better software support, which is beneficial if you're using Unreal Engine due to things like DLSS being more prevalent than FSR.
Exactly! It's worth checking out what software you'll be using; some are just built with Nvidia in mind.
