I once snagged a $150 mini PC off eBay, and it worked perfectly for my needs. It’s pretty powerful too—I use it for running Kubernetes workloads now.
If you're using an Android, I highly recommend some awesome apps like Pydroid for Python, Cxx droid for C++, and there are even apps for HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. These have worked great for me without a laptop! Just a heads up, I don’t have a laptop either and I’ve been making it work!
