Hey everyone, I'm having a bit of a frustrating issue logging into my Windows laptop. When I try to access my account, it's asking for a PIN instead of letting me input my password, which is causing a problem since I can only enter numbers. The only option available is 'I forgot my PIN,' but every time I click it, I'm just taken back to the lock screen without any further options. I've been trying to reach customer support, but I keep getting stuck on their website without helpful instructions. I've also attempted to reset my PIN through my phone on the Microsoft site, but it just keeps telling me to click something on my computer, which I can't access. Is there any way to log in without this PIN or to change the login method to ask for my password instead? I'm not super tech-savvy, so any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Try restarting your laptop and making sure you're connected to WiFi. After that, click the 'Forgot PIN' option again. If that doesn't work, I've got a more detailed method that might help you out.
I did restart my laptop and checked my WiFi connection. After clicking 'Forgot my PIN', my account briefly changed to 'New User', but then it just sent me back to the lock screen with a generic wallpaper. No new options showed up, so I'm not sure what to do next.
