I'm gearing up to buy a new PC that should work well for both gaming and productivity. I usually play titles like Valorant and some Mihoyo games like Genshin Impact and HSR, but I'm also looking to use this setup for future work involving AutoCAD, Revit, and 3D modeling/rendering software. I don't really know much about PC components; I picked parts based mainly on what looked good or what's considered top-tier. The cost has piled up, and I'm starting to worry it could be overkill. I'm okay with spending a bit extra if it means the setup will last for years, but I'd prefer to find better alternatives to avoid unnecessary costs. Thanks for any help! For 3D modeling, you might want to consider the 9900X3D or 9950X3D instead of what you have. They provide the same gaming performance but improve workstation efficiency a lot. Also, Nvidia cards tend to perform better in those applications, so a 5070 Ti would fit better, even though it comes with a higher price tag (at least $300 more!). As for your storage, consider swapping the P3 Plus for the T500. Finally, think about going with a B850 motherboard unless you really need the extra M.2/PCIe slots or faster USB options that come with the X870 boards—they're decent improvements but not always necessary.
I agree with the swap, especially for GPU since writing programs may benefit more from Nvidia versus AMD.
Doesn't the case and extra fans seem a bit hefty? Like, do you really need an $400 case with $80 fans? Seems excessive!
