I'm looking for some insights on the Intel 14790F. I had an Intel 14700K that died on me a year ago and downgraded to a 12700KF about six months back. Since I can't afford a new motherboard and RAM right now, I'm wondering if the 14790F is free from the issues that plagued the 13th and 14th gen processors. There's not much information out there, but I have the opportunity to buy one locally. Any thoughts?

You might want to be cautious. Most people suggest getting the latest microcode and BIOS updates for the 14790F. It could help improve stability, but whether it’s truly safe is still a big question mark. Just keep in mind that updates aren’t a guaranteed fix.
That’s true! A few folks I've talked to are still facing problems with their 14th gen CPUs even after installing the updates. It’s why I’m hesitant too. The 14790F was released after those issues came to light, so it might have better silicon, but who knows?
