I'm really struggling after a recent screen replacement on my iPhone. Before it broke, my younger brother accidentally turned on VoiceOver, which seems to have messed up the touchscreen functionality completely. Now, with a new screen, VoiceOver is still activated, and I can't enter my passcode. I've tried using the VoiceOver gestures like double-tapping the numbers, but nothing is working. I know the passcode, but I'm locked out. I'm worried because I have similar passwords to my family, and I might be down to my last try before the phone gets disabled. Is there any way to turn off VoiceOver without unlocking the phone? Can I connect it to a computer for any help? I'm really feeling stuck here and would appreciate any advice!

Didn’t you try the triple-click on the side button? That’s supposed to be a quick way to toggle VoiceOver. If that didn't work, it might be a settings issue that only a restore can fix.
Have you tried asking Siri to disable VoiceOver? Sometimes it actually works! Just say, 'Hey Siri, disable VoiceOver.' But beware, if Siri is asking for the password, it’s a no-go.
Yeah, unfortunately, my Siri needs the passcode to even respond.
Try connecting your iPhone to a computer you’ve previously used. If it recognizes the phone, you might be able to back it up or restore it from there. Alternatively, if "Find My iPhone" is enabled, you could use iCloud to erase the device and start fresh. Just keep in mind that this could mean losing data unless you have a backup.
I totally get it, losing data sucks. Make sure you have everything backed up before trying that!
Yep, I tried that too, but nothing happened.
