Hey everyone, I really need some help with my laptop. It just gave me a blue screen and said it would restart, but now it's stuck on this screen that shows information about the Intel Management Engine and has a menu with options like MEBx login and settings. I can't seem to exit it, and I don't know what the Intel password is. Before this happened, my laptop was acting a bit glitchy. It's an HP Elitebook with an Intel Core i5 vPro inside, but I'm not sure about the exact model.

If you didn't set a BIOS password, it's usually "admin" by default. However, if your laptop isn’t booting normally, the storage drive could be the problem. You might need to take it to a repair shop unless you have another computer to diagnose the drive. It’s also crucial to know the exact model of your HP Elitebook to get proper help.

It's actually working now for some reason! But I'm really worried because someone mentioned my drive might fail soon. I want to back up absolutely everything, but I'm not sure how to do that.

It sounds like your laptop has booted into the BIOS. Try restarting it and see if it goes back to Windows. If it's still not working, check if you have a BIOS password you might have set or if a previous owner put it on there.
