Need Help with Low FPS in High-Quality Games!

Hey everyone! I built my first PC a little over a month ago, and while it runs most games pretty well, I'm having serious performance issues with certain titles. For instance, in Ark: Survival Ascended, I can barely get 5 FPS, even though my GPU utilization is at 100% and CPU usage is only 20%. I've installed the proper drivers via Adrenaline, and my RAM is set to XMP. Here are my specs:

- CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9900X
- GPU: AMD Radeon Steel Series 9070XT
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5 16GB x2
- Storage: 2TB SSD in PCIe slots x2
- Power Supply: 850 watt Super Flower
- Cooler: Montech Hyperflow
- OS: Windows 11

I'd really appreciate any advice you can give me on how to resolve this!

Quick question: Are you sure you're connecting your monitor directly to the GPU and not to the motherboard's output? That could definitely cause the low FPS issues you're having!

I tried plugging both monitors into the GPU, but I couldn't get them to work that way. Does that impact performance?

It might help to take a screenshot of your task manager while you're gaming. That way you can check what processes are using your resources. But if you can't post pics here, maybe just keep an eye on CPU and RAM usage during gameplay to spot any possible bottlenecks.

I can't seem to find a way to share screenshots, but I will monitor my CPU and RAM while I play!

It sounds like you've done well setting things up, but without further analysis, it can be tough to locate the problem. If everything is functioning, the FPS drop could be related to graphics settings or something else in the game. Have you tried lowering the graphics settings in Ark to see if that improves FPS?
