Hey everyone! I'm new to building PCs and have spent the last couple of weeks researching and putting together a build. I'm using my PC primarily for light video editing, gaming (mainly DOTA, StarCraft 2, and other less demanding games), software development, and live-streaming art and games. I'm aiming for a maximum resolution of 1080p. My budget is around $1,000, but I'm willing to be flexible. Can anyone take a look at my build (linked below) and provide some feedback? Am I over-engineering or under-engineering anything? Any major oversights I should be aware of? Thanks in advance!

I think you're better off with a newer platform. The LGA 1700 CPU seems pretty outdated, and considering the issues with the higher-end 13th and 14th gen CPUs, I'd suggest going for an AM5 build instead. It offers more future-proof options and might save you some headaches down the line.
So just to clarify, are you suggesting that the motherboard is the bigger issue or is it specifically the CPU?
