Hey everyone! I've been having an issue recently where the fans on my laptop start going crazy after about 10 to 20 minutes of playing games. At first, it seems to run just fine without any lag, but then the fans ramp up and everything gets laggy. I'm unsure what's causing this or how to fix it. Has anyone experienced something similar or have suggestions?

You might want to look into the environment your laptop is in. If you're playing on a soft surface like a bed or pillow, it can block the air vents. Also, with the weather warming up, just the ambient temperature can cause your laptop to heat up more quickly. Cleaning it out with some compressed air could really help!
Don't forget that summer is here, and if your room is hot, that could be contributing to the issue too. Sometimes even small changes like a different surface can affect performance. If you notice weird lagging, check for any background processes that may be using up resources while you're gaming.
It sounds like the fans are trying to keep things cool because your laptop might be thermal throttling. That happens when the CPU or GPU gets too hot and slows down to protect itself. Have you checked for dust or hair clogging the fans or heatsinks? Often, that’s a major cause. Laptops are designed for compactness, which isn’t great for airflow, especially under heavy loads like gaming.
