I recently tried to clone a new SSD using Macrium Reflect Free, but I ran into an issue. The process failed with the error message: **Clone failed - Error 8 - Write failed - 433 - A device which does not exist was specified.** At that point, my SSD seemed to just vanish from both disk manager and diskpart. I'm worried it's dead, but is there a chance that this can still be fixed with software?

First, check if your SSD is detected in the BIOS. If it shows up there, it's probably just an OS bug or a compatibility issue with that specific drive model. However, if it doesn't appear in BIOS, it’s likely a problem with the drive itself, and you might need to consider getting an RMA since it’s brand new.
It sounds like it could be a bad board or SSD. Since you mentioned it worked in another device, it might actually be the motherboard that's causing the issue. By the way, is your SSD a SATA type or PCIe?
It's actually a PCIe SSD, specifically the Adata SX8200 Pro.
