I'm looking to improve my PC performance but I'm not sure where to start. Here are my current specs: CPU is a Ryzen 5 5600X, motherboard is an ASUS Prime B450M-A, GPU is an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060, and I have 16GB of DDR4 RAM. For storage, I have a 1TB Seagate Barracuda and a 256GB Samsung 850 Evo SSD. My power supply is an EVGA 500 BR 500W. With a budget of around $500, what upgrades should I prioritize?

If you shop smart, you could fit in an RX 6700 XT along with a 5700X3D. Plus, grabbing 32GB of RAM could enhance performance, with just an extra $50 to your budget. This would really elevate your gaming experience!

That's a solid suggestion! I’ll have to compare prices to see if I can swing it.

You might want to take a closer look at your EVGA 500W power supply model. If it's on the lower end, upgrading could really help your system. Getting a new PSU could set you up for future builds, too!

I recommend increasing your RAM by adding another 16GB kit with the same timings and frequency. A higher output PSU around 650W can make a big difference, especially if you're considering a powerful GPU like the RX 6700 XT. This will definitely help for 1440p gaming if that's your focus!
