Hey everyone! I just recently built my own PC and I've noticed that my CPU temperatures seem really high even when it's idle—around 52°C. When I launch games, the CPU hits thermal throttling at a whopping 95°C. I initially thought I might have messed up the thermal paste application, so I re-applied it using the X method with a good amount of MX-6 paste, but it only dropped the temps by about 5°C. I've played around with the speeds for the CPU cooler and pump, but no matter how fast the fans are going, the temperatures stay pretty much the same. I even made sure to peel the plastic off the copper heatsink and the AIO where the cooler attaches. I've attached a video showing the issue (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0vEDgMI8Ic) and a screenshot with my Cyberpunk temps (https://i.imgur.com/F8HOnwp.png). Am I missing something? Did I install the AIO incorrectly?

First thing to check is if the pump is actually running. You can usually hear a faint humming sound when it's active. If not, that could be your problem. You might need to reconnect it or troubleshoot the pump.
I can't really tell if it's on or not. What kind of sound should I be listening for?
