Hey everyone, I'm a newbie to PC gaming and recently built my first gaming PC. The issue is that I've filled up my 1TB storage pretty quickly. I'm looking into adding a second M.2 SSD, but I have a question before I go ahead with the installation. My current M.2 drive has a heatsink attached, but the second slot on my motherboard doesn't have one. Should I get an additional heatsink for the new drive, or is it okay to install it without one? Any advice would be awesome! Thanks!

I’ve never used heatsinks on my SSDs, and they’ve all been fine. Just make sure your airflow is good in your case, and you should be good to go.
And it hasn’t been affected by overheating or anything?
