I'm 19 and currently studying business law, but I feel really lost when it comes to coding. It seems like everyone around me knows how to code, and I worry I'll be at a disadvantage. I have zero knowledge in Python, and I struggle even with Scratch. I want to know how to start learning coding because I anticipate needing skills in Python and SQL, especially if I delve into data analysis in the corporate world.

Check out CS50! It's a great introductory course to computer science and programming that can get you on the right track.
Honestly, as a business major, you might not need to dive deep into coding. There are countless jobs that don't require it. But if you're leaning towards HR analytics, a basic understanding of Python and SQL could be beneficial.
Before diving in, think about what kind of programming you want to do. If data analysis is your thing, familiarize yourself with different roles and relevant skills. Knowing Excel and SQL along with Python is a great path for that.
Good idea! I hadn't considered exploring job roles first. Seems like getting comfortable with those tools is key.
Don't stress about your age! Anyone can start learning to code at any time. Just keep practicing. Try pairing YouTube tutorials with exercises to really drive the concepts home. Platforms like Codecademy can also be helpful to get started.
That sounds like a solid plan! I'm thinking of starting with tutorials and then trying out exercises.
Start with some Python tutorials. Pick a project that excites you, and learn as you go. Projects are a great way to motivate you to learn the necessary tools and languages!
I see your point! I've heard some roles do require at least basic coding skills. Plus, I think it could be a good skill to have.
