I'm excited to build my first PC, but since I've never done this before, I want to ensure that all the components I've chosen will work well together before I make any purchases. Here's what I have planned:
- GPU: Asus TUF Gaming 8GB RTX 3060 Ti
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
- Motherboard: Gigabyte B550M AORUS ELITE AX
- RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 2x16GB DDR4 3600MHz
- PSU: Corsair CX650 80+ Bronze 650W
- Case: Antec NX290
- Storage: A couple of drives from my old PC, plus a new WD Green SN300 NVMe SSD 1TB.
Is there anything else I need to consider or replace?

Before you buy anything, make sure you trust the source for your GPU, especially if it's used. A good tip is to run your entire build through PCPartPicker; it’ll check compatibility for you. That said, you might want to consider upgrading your CPU; the 5600X could bottleneck that powerful 3060 Ti. Also, you might need a stronger PSU, maybe a 750W or 850W to be safe, but it depends on your full build configuration.
Your parts look decent together! Just ensure that the power supply is adequate for everything, and keep an eye on cooling; good airflow in your case is key, especially with high-performance parts.
Honestly, if you're going with an AMD setup, I'd suggest switching to a 7600X or a 9600X. The AM4 platform is outdated, and you’d want something more future-proof for gaming.
Do I need to get a case with front cooling fans too?
