Why isn’t my newly rebuilt PC booting up?

I recently upgraded my old Windows 10 PC, which wasn't compatible with Windows 11. I replaced the motherboard, processor, and memory while keeping my old case and hard drives intact. I only moved over my M.2 SSD that holds the OS. The new specs are an AMD Ryzen 5 5600 CPU, an Asus ROG Strix B550-F Gaming WiFi II motherboard, and Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB RAM. Everything powers on, the fans spin, and the motherboard lights up, but I don't hear any beeping and there's no display on the monitor. Any ideas on what might be going wrong?

First off, can you check if there are any debug LEDs on your motherboard? Those lights can give you clues about what might be failing. Also, make sure that your CPU and motherboard are compatible; sometimes a BIOS update is needed. I recommend disconnecting all non-essential components (like extra fans, SSDs, and the GPU) and just trying to boot with the memory, the 24-pin power cable, and the CPU power cable to simplify things. You can even jump-start it by shorting the power switch pins on the motherboard.

Sounds like a solid plan! I'll check the manual for the debug LEDs and see if that gives me any insight.

Just a thought, did you double-check the RAM seating? Sometimes if the RAM isn’t properly in place, it can cause boot issues. Try reseating the RAM and ensuring it's in the correct slots according to your motherboard's manual. Also, make sure the CPU is properly seated with no bent pins—these can also block your boot process.

Great advice! I’ll look into that too; any pin misalignment could definitely be the culprit.
