I'm building a budget gaming PC with a tight limit of about 650 euros. My setup includes a 7500F processor, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, a 650W 80 Plus Bronze PSU, a Nuwo Bliz R24 case, and an MSI B650 motherboard. I'm stuck deciding between an RX 6650 XT with 8GB of VRAM and an RTX 3060 with 12GB. The RTX 3060 costs just one euro more and offers more VRAM, which I'm hoping will help me run AAA games at 1080p. But considering AMD seems to have the edge right now, is the extra VRAM on the 3060 worth it?

If VRAM is important to you, I'd say go with the RTX 3060. I've had mine for a while, and it runs great for games like Call of Duty and others without a hitch.
You might want to check out the Arc B580 as an option. The 6650 XT is generally better, but it can struggle with its 8GB VRAM in more demanding scenarios.
For 2K gaming, the 3060 is definitely the way to go because of its higher VRAM. It really helps in games that demand more memory.
