Hey everyone! I've had my gaming PC sitting idle for about four years, but I'm ready to dive back into single-player gaming. I've currently got a Ryzen 5600X paired with a GTX 1080, and I'm looking to upgrade just the GPU. My focus is on getting a graphics card that provides stunning visuals rather than max FPS, since I'm mainly playing game titles with great graphics. While there isn't a strict budget, I'm aware that my CPU may limit the card's performance, so I want to ensure I get the best value for my upgrade. I've heard a bit about DLSS and I'm leaning towards NVIDIA for this reason. Also, I'm open to considering used GPUs from past generations. What GPU would you recommend?

For a solid upgrade, I’d go for an RX 9070 XT and pair it with a 1440p monitor. That setup would really enhance your gaming experience.

Honestly, I think you should consider upgrading your CPU before the GPU. The non X3D AM4 chips might throttle your graphics performance.

I’ve heard that, but it seems like these CPUs hold up just fine!

You might want to check out the PNY Dual Fan OC GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB. Given your setup, it doesn't make sense to go higher than the 5060 Ti or RX 9060 XT. The 9060 XT is around $370-$380 and performs similarly, but I recommend the 5060 Ti for its better features and wider support.

Yeah, your PSU should handle it just fine!

Thanks, I'll look into that one! Do you think it would work with my Corsair SF750 PSU?

If you're playing at 1080p, I’d suggest upgrading to the 5070. It’ll give you excellent FPS, ultra settings, and support for DLSS. Plus, you can enhance your CPU later on and maybe even move up to 1440p gaming.

Thanks for the suggestion! Will it work with my current Corsair SF750 power supply?

Absolutely, it should work well!
