Hey everyone! I'm currently servicing my desktop and need to replace the thermal paste. When I first got my PC two years ago, I wasn't confident enough to apply it myself, so I let the shop handle it. Now, I'm looking to buy new thermal paste for my Ryzen 7 5700G processor. I've done a bit of research and it seems like metal-based thermal paste is the way to go, but I'm uncertain about which specific product to choose. Here are some options I'm considering: [Liquid Metal Thermal Paste Options](https://www.flipkart.com/search?q=liquid+metal+thermal+paste&sid=6bo%2Cg0i%2Cfyv&as=on&as-show=on&as-pos=1&as-type=RECENT&as-searchtext=liquid%5C+metal&requestId=7732818e-fe87-4248-888c-08f6162634f3&suggestionId=liquid+metal+thermal+paste%7CThermal+Pastes&otracker=AS_QueryStore_OrganicAutoSuggest_%7BPOSITION%7D_12_na_na_na&isSearchQuery=true&pageUID=1751517323104). Any suggestions?

Honestly, you might want to steer clear of liquid metal. It could shave off 1 or 2 degrees Celsius, but it's tricky to apply and can be risky. A good quality regular thermal paste will do just fine for most users.
What do you mean by 1 or 2 degrees? Is it really that much harder to apply compared to regular paste? Should I also look for higher W/mk units?
