I just installed Java on my Arch Linux system, but I'm getting a 'command not found' error when I try to run it. Previously, I had installed an older version of JDK 8. Can anyone help me figure out what's going wrong?

Can you share how you installed Java? Specifically, what command line did you use or which package you selected in your package manager? That'll help us troubleshoot better!

I installed it using the official Java link for the JDK 24 tar.gz file, and then I had some help from a chatbot named HuggingChat. It closed so I can't recall the exact instructions!
