I recently upgraded to an RM850e PSU for my Red Devil 5700xt graphics card, which requires two 8-pin connectors. However, the PSU only comes with one 8-pin. It does include a 12v 2x6 to dual 8-pin cable, and I'm a bit puzzled about how to use it. Corsair's infographic suggests that the dual 8-pin connectors should plug into the PSU instead of the GPU. Is it okay to reverse this and plug it directly into my GPU, or will I need to get another 8-pin to 8-pin cable? This is all pretty confusing for me!

You should definitely follow Corsair's recommendations and connect both 2x8 pin connectors directly to your GPU. It’s designed for that setup, so there’s no need to worry about daisy chaining issues here—your PSU can handle it!
That’s my concern too, but I noticed Corsair's infographic suggests plugging those connectors into the PSU instead. Should I just order another 8-pin to 8-pin to be safe?
