Hey everyone! I've been waiting for AMD and Nvidia's new GPUs to shake up the used market, but instead, prices just keep going up. My temporary RX 5700 XT is starting to feel outdated for the games I like to play, and I'd love to sell it while it still has some value. I'm trying to figure out the best upgrade options available in Europe for under 300 euros. Here are the GPUs I'm considering:
**Nvidia:**
- GeForce RTX 3070 (240-250 euros)
- GeForce RTX 2080 Ti (250-260 euros)
- GeForce RTX 3080 (10GB, 320-350 euros)
**AMD:**
- Radeon RX 6700 XT (220-250 euros)
- Radeon RX 6800 (290-320 euros)
For something new, I've got:
- Intel Arc B580 (around 250 euros)
- RX 9060 XT 16GB (around 340-350 euros)
It feels like the used card market has been pretty stagnant for over a year now. Upgrading slightly doesn't seem to unlock much better value, and the new cards in this price range jump to the 500-euro 5070s. I usually play racing games, VR, MMOs, and gacha games, aiming for 60fps at 1440p on a 165hz monitor.
With that in mind, is RDNA2 still a good choice in 2025? Would the lower VRAM options from Nvidia offer significant benefits, or should I consider the 9060 XT even with its fewer outputs and lower memory bus? Also, is the Intel B580 a solid option, especially for VR performance when paired with my Ryzen 7 3700X? I'd appreciate any advice or if you know of better deals online!
