Need Help Learning to Code from Scratch

I'm a teenager who's really struggling to find resources to learn coding. My school doesn't offer any technology classes, so I'm starting from zero and feeling pretty lost. Can anyone recommend some good websites or apps to help me learn coding? Or would it be better to find an in-person learning center? I'm open to any advice since I'm eager to get started!

"Learn to code" is pretty broad. What area are you interested in? If you're unsure, start by learning basic programming principles. They've got a lot in common across languages. Just dive in and enjoy the problem-solving process!

Have you considered using YouTube for tutorials? It's a fantastic resource. Once you grasp the basics, you might even use AI tools to help with projects, but make sure you understand the fundamentals first!

Books are a great way to start! Check out your local library and grab some programming books. If you hit a snag, just Google it for answers. And beware of any sites that claim learning to code is super easy—those are usually scams! Good luck!

Try starting from this site: [W3Schools](https://www.w3schools.com/). Experiment with different topics and when you find one you enjoy, dive deeper into it. Just remember, coding can feel tough at first, but it's all about learning to read documentation and practicing!

Self-studying programming is easier than ever because tons of resources are available online. If you're starting fresh, I highly recommend the free CS50x course from Harvard. It covers the fundamentals really well and will help you figure out your coding interests afterward.
