Thoughts on My New PC Parts List?

I've finally decided to build a new PC after my trusty old one ran for over a decade! My previous build had an i5-3570K, and I notice that a lot has changed in the tech world since then. I'm aiming for a solid, reliable, and quiet gaming rig that can last me another 8 years or so, with a budget of $2050. Here's what I've got so far:

- **Case:** Fractal Design Define 7 Compact - $114.99
- **Motherboard:** ASUS TUF GAMING B650-PLUS WIFI - $159.99
- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D - $369
- **SSD:** Team Group MP44L 1TB (comes free with CPU)
- **SSD Alternative:** SAMSUNG 990 EVO PLUS SSD 2TB - $139.99
- **RAM:** G.SKILL Trident Z5 Neo Series AMD EXPO 32GB (2 x 16GB) - $116.99
- **GPU:** GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 4070 - $707
- **PSU:** CORSAIR RM Series RM750 - $129.95
- **Cooler:** be quiet! DARK ROCK 5 - $79.90
- **Extra Fans:** Noctua NF-A14 PWM (2 fans) - $69.10

I'm keeping my existing monitor, but I need advice on whether this parts list looks good. Is there anything crucial that I'm missing? Also, is the free SSD sufficient, or should I consider getting the additional one as well? Thanks for any insights!

While the Define 7 case looks great, it might not have the best airflow, especially in the front. I'd suggest looking for a case that has more airflow. Also, check out options like the 5070 or a 4070 Ti instead of just the 4070—it might be a better deal! As for the cooler, consider swapping to the Thermalright Peerless Assassin for better performance. Also, don't forget to plug your selected parts into PCPartPicker to ensure compatibility!

Given your budget, I'd say the GPU is a place where you could enhance things. The Corsair RM750 PSU is rated as B-tier, so if you want Corsair, consider upgrading to the RMx series since those have a better rating. You could also find cheaper RAM that performs just as well. And about that SSD, I have the MP44L from Team Group, and they’ve performed great—just make sure you have more than 1TB, so think about grabbing that additional SSD.
