I'm using an iPhone 12 with iOS 17.5.1, and I'm stuck because I can't remember my Apple ID password. Whenever I try to reset it by clicking 'forgot password' while downloading an app, my phone freezes. The only way I can unfreeze it is by taking a screenshot, which then takes me out of the password reset menu. Also, when I go into settings and try to access my Apple ID and then 'Sign In and Security', it just keeps loading forever. Can anyone help me reset my password? Thanks!

If you have another iPhone nearby, you can use the Apple Support app to reset your password. Just tap 'Reset Password' and then 'Help Someone Else'. Enter your Apple account email, verify your phone number, and follow the prompts. It should send you a text message to reset your password. Good luck!
