How Much RAM Do I Really Need for My New PC Setup?

I'm building a new PC with a 7800X3D processor and an RTX 4070 AMP AIRO graphics card. I'm considering getting either 128GB or 256GB of RAM, and I also plan to get a 1000 watt power supply. I'm not completely sure if that's too much or if it would be sufficient for my needs. What do you all think?

Honestly, 128GB is way overkill unless you're doing some serious productivity stuff. For gaming, 32GB is the sweet spot. If you're editing videos and using After Effects, you might want to look at 64GB max. As for the power supply, a 750W will probably do just fine with your setup.

Got it, thanks! I just want to make sure I have enough for future upgrades too.
