Can My Computer Run DirectX 12?

I'm trying to figure out if my computer can actually run DirectX 12. In the DirectX Diagnostic Tool, it says I have DirectX version 12 installed. However, when I check the display section, it shows 'Direct3D DDI: 11.2'. Should I be worried about my drivers being outdated, or have I not downloaded DirectX 12 properly? I'm a bit confused and just want to be able to play Deltarune without any issues!

It's good that you checked your DirectX version! The reason you're seeing 'Direct3D DDI: 11.2' is likely because your graphics card (GPU) only supports up to that version, even if DirectX 12 is installed. To really know what your PC can handle, you should check your GPU model since that's what determines compatibility. You can find this by looking under 'Display devices' in the DirectX Diagnostic Tool.

Definitely confirm which GPU you have! If your GPU supports DirectX 12, you'll be able to play games that require it. If it's only 11.2, then you might need to consider upgrading your graphics card to enjoy those newer titles. You can usually find this information under 'Display' in the DirectX tool.
