Hey everyone! I'm dealing with a frustrating situation and could use your insights. My setup includes an Asus ROG Strix B550-F Gaming WiFi II motherboard, an AMD Radeon 6700XT GPU, and a Seasonic S12II-520 Bronze PSU. Recently, my rabbit chewed on my PSU cable, not quite reaching the metal but definitely damaging the inner plastic. When I tried to power on my PC, my monitor didn't recognize any input, and I noticed a bright white light on the motherboard's VGA section, indicating it wasn't detecting the GPU. I attempted multiple fixes, including reseating the GPU, switching slots, and even tested an old GPU, but no luck. I suspect the PSU might not be supplying enough power. Meanwhile, my monitor isn't recognizing input from any HDMI ports, even though I tested it on separate laptops. According to my understanding, the monitor might have also been damaged somehow, but I am confused about how the whole situation unfolded. Any thoughts?

It sounds like the cable might be more damaged than you think. Check it with a flashlight for any signs of exposed metal or other chew marks. Do you have another power cable you can try? Also, make sure your monitor is set to the right input channel, like HDMI 1 or whatever you've got. If you have any alternative cables or ports, give those a shot too!
Thanks for the tips! I did buy a replacement power cord but no luck with that. I have two HDMI ports and a DisplayPort on the monitor, so I’ll test the DP next.
