I'm having a frustrating issue with my PC that keeps rebooting to a black screen. I've been trying to diagnose the problem by testing my two RAM sticks individually. So far, both sticks crash almost immediately when placed in the slot closest to the CPU cooler. I've replaced the motherboard and the PSU a few months back, but the crashes haven't stopped. I've also switched out both SSDs, which didn't help either. I suspect it might be a faulty CPU since the problems started after I upgraded it, but I lack the spare components to test that theory. What else could be the issue? Here are my specs: Asus Tuf B550 Wifi II, 16GB G.Skill TridentZ RAM, AMD Radeon 5600XT, Ryzen 5 5500, Cooler Master MWE Gold v2 650.

It sounds like you're dealing with a tricky situation. If the problems started right after you replaced your CPU, that could indicate it's the root of the issue. However, keep in mind that if the motherboard has been swapped twice, it's less likely that's the culprit. Have you checked for any visible issues, like a bent pin in the memory slot or anything that might suggest a poor connection?
Yeah, a bent pin could definitely cause problems. I would take a close look at those connections. Have you also checked for potential damage on the backside of the motherboard around the memory slot? Sometimes cracks or loose solder can be hard to spot.
