Hey everyone, I'm having some major issues with my laptop while playing Squad. The game keeps freezing, and the only way to get it running again is by restarting. I've been dealing with this for several days now, and I checked the event overview to find out that the error is related to nvlddmkm.sys. I've looked everywhere on YouTube and across the internet, but nothing seems to work. Just so you know, I can't reinstall Windows because I have important data and banking applications on my computer that I can't lose. My laptop specs are an NVIDIA 4070m, Intel i7-13700h, and 32GB of RAM, and I'm running Windows 11 (version 24h2) with NVIDIA driver version 576.40.

Have you tried reinstalling the Nvidia graphics drivers? Sometimes, a fresh install can resolve these types of issues. Just make sure to completely uninstall the existing ones first before installing the new drivers.

Yeah, definitely do a full uninstall of the Nvidia drivers before reinstalling. That often clears up any lingering issues that could be causing the freezes.

Just a heads up, if you’re making any changes to your system settings or BIOS, always back up your important data first! You don’t want to risk losing anything accidentally.
