I'm putting together my first PC and I would love some feedback on my selected parts. Here's what I've got so far:
- **CPU**: Ryzen 7 5700x 3.4 GHz 8-Core
- **GPU**: GALAX GeForce RTX 4060 8 GB ST 1-Click OC
- **Cooler**: Deepcool Gammaxx AG400
- **Motherboard**: Asus Tuf Gaming B550M-Plus Micro ATX AM4
- **RAM**: XPG Gammix D20 DDR4-3600 (2x16GB)
- **Storage**: Kingston SSD NV3 1 TB M.2-2280
- **Power Supply**: MSI A650BN 650W 80+ Bronze ATX12V
- **Case**: Liketec Cube Kirra MicroATX Mini-Tower
I plan to use this mainly for work involving 3D modeling/sculpting and video editing, but I also want to play some racing games occasionally. Is there anything I should be aware of regarding this setup? Are there better alternatives in a similar price range? It's a bit over my budget, but I want something that will last a long time.

Your build is solid for a first-time setup! The Ryzen 7 5700x and RTX 4060 should give you great performance for both productivity and gaming. Just keep in mind that it's more of a workstation build due to the CPU choice, which is excellent for 3D rendering and video editing. If you find the parts expensive, you might consider checking for sales or refurbished components. Overall, it looks like a capable setup for your needs!
Looks good, but I’d say the GPU is a bit overkill if you're mainly doing 3D modeling and video editing. You might save some money with a slightly less powerful model unless you're planning on gaming a lot at higher settings. Just keep an eye on power consumption too, with that PSU.
That’s a fair point! If you're gaming casually, a mid-range GPU could save budget for more RAM or a faster SSD, which might help performance in those software.
Totally agree! The combination sounds great, especially for 3D work. Just ensure your cooler is adequate for the Ryzen—you want it to stay cool during heavy tasks.
