I'm looking to upgrade my daughter's older PC and could use some advice on selecting a good GPU. Here's what we're working with:
- Motherboard: Asus B450m-k
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600 AM4
- RAM: 32GB DDR4 3200
- Power Supply: 750 Watts
Right now, she's using an AMD RX580 8GB, but I want to find the best value option since money is a bit tight. The PCIe slot on her motherboard is 3.0. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

If you're looking for great value, the 16GB 9060 XT is a solid choice. It pairs well with your current setup and won't break the bank. I'd say it's among the best budget-friendly options available right now.
Have you checked out the Intel Arc B580? It's priced around $250-$270 and offers performance between the 4060 and 4060 Ti, plus it has 12GB of VRAM. Seriously, it's the best bang for your buck at the moment!
For new options, definitely consider the 16GB 9060 XT. If you're open to used cards, something like the RX6600 XT would also serve her well without costing too much. Just make sure to check if the used card has enough VRAM to keep up with her needs!
You might want to consider looking at a used 3060 Ti. It was one of the best value cards when it launched and still holds up quite well for modern gaming. Plus, you might find a great deal!
Yeah, I’ve heard good things about the 9060 XT too! Definitely worth considering for the price.
