How Do I Dual Boot Ubuntu with Windows 11 Without a USB Drive?

Hey everyone! I've been wanting to try out Ubuntu for a while now, but I'm hesitant about losing my current files on my PC. I'm currently running Windows 11 and I'm curious about how to set up a dual boot system. Ideally, I'd love to do this without using a USB drive if that's possible. Any advice? Thanks a lot! ❤️

It’s generally recommended to use a USB drive for installation to keep things smooth, but I get that it can be tricky to have one handy. Have you considered running Ubuntu in a virtual machine instead? That way you won't have to touch your Windows setup.

I’m not sure if my low-end laptop can handle that. What do you think?
