Hey everyone! I went to Micro Center and the staff helped me pick out my first PC build. Here's the list of parts: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ckcWTM. I'm curious to hear your thoughts on it—are the choices good, or should I consider making some changes?

I think the CPU cooler is a bit overkill for this setup. If you're not looking for an extravagant look, a simple air cooler like the Phantom Spirit RGB or Evo would work just fine and save you some bucks.
As far as builds with a 7600X3D and 9070XT go, you probably won’t find a better deal with the same quality. It hits the right balance for performance and cost.
If you want to save some cash, I suggest swapping out the case for something like the Fractal Design Focus G—it's only about $65 and performs really well. Also, consider ditching the liquid cooler for an air cooler, like the Thermalright Peerless Assassin, which is around $50. And if you're looking to save more, think about going with a regular 9070 instead of the XT; you'll still get solid performance. For the power supply, I’ve had good experiences with Power Spec's 850W 80+ Gold from Micro Center—it's reliable at a decent price!
Overall, it's a solid build with quality parts. Just a heads up, switching to a cheaper air cooler might be a smart move, and you could also save on the SSD. That motherboard's fine, but if it's part of a Micro Center bundle, it makes sense to go with it for the price.
If you aren't set on the AIO cooler, there are better air cooler options that won’t break the bank.
I think it's a good build overall. Some things might not be necessary, but just remember that those stores often push for higher-end models for commission; they might upsell some parts that don't really add much.
What do you think is unnecessary in this build?
Totally agree on switching to air cooling! A water setup just means more maintenance for no real benefit.
