Looking for $10 AWS Credits as a Student – Any Suggestions?

Hey everyone! I'm a student diving into AWS and working on some DevOps projects, including Jenkins pipelines, Elastic Load Balancers, and EKS. I've hit my limit with the AWS Free Tier and need around $10 in credits just to run a few tests and grab some screenshots for my resume and blog. I've tried AWS Educate, but that didn't pan out for me. I also applied to the AWS Community Builders program a couple of times but got rejected both times. Is there any other way—like student programs, sponsorships, or community grants—where I could snag a small amount of credits to keep building and learning? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks a ton!

You might want to try posting your story on r/aws or tagging @AWSCloud on Twitter; sometimes they hand out credits. It's also worth checking if your school has any AWS Academy access. As a backup, consider using DigitalOcean; they offer free trials and have simpler pricing.

Quick question: if I end up deploying my 3-tier app on DigitalOcean’s EKS-type service, would that diminish my skills as a DevOps engineer since it's an easier UI? Is it at all comparable to working with AWS?
