Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for a new GPU and I'm down to three options: the RX 9070, RX 9070 XT, or RTX 5070. My primary use is gaming, but hardware acceleration is also crucial for me, especially when streaming on Discord in 2K or watching 4K content in a browser. Currently, I'm leaning towards the RX models because I feel the RTX might fall short in raster performance and VRAM—do you think 12GB of VRAM would be sufficient for gaming at high settings for about four years? I've also heard that FS4's optical scaling compares very well to DLSS based on reviews. Both the 9070 and 5070 are similarly priced, so it's tough to decide. Should I just go ahead and spend a little more for the 9070 XT instead? Also, I dabble in Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, but that's not my main focus. Lastly, I'm upgrading from an RTX 3060Ti, so I'm expecting a noticeable increase in FPS. What do you think?

Honestly, the 5070 just seems out of place. The 9070 XT gives you better performance, especially for video editing with Premiere Pro using CUDA. If you're going to stick with a GPU for a few years, just get the best you can afford!
What’s your budget and where are you located? That could help narrow your options. Based on your setup, the 9070 XT seems worth the investment for the performance. Also, if you lean towards AMD for OS support, that’s a good call too!
I'd go for the 9070 XT! It has 16GB of VRAM, which will help future-proof your setup for gaming and any creative work. You’ll definitely notice a boost in performance compared to your 3060 Ti!
Totally agree! It's just a smarter investment in the long run.
I’m based in Poland, so I’ve got some prices in USD! My budget is around $800, but for the right performance, I might stretch for the 9070 XT.
