Can I Remap a Key to Type Two Letters on Linux?

I'm looking for help with my keyboard settings on Linux. In my native language, there are keys that can type two letters when pressed, like how one key types 'sh'. However, on Linux, pressing the key only gives me a special character that doesn't appear properly when I send messages. For example, I want the 't' key to type 'th' instead. Is there a way to remap my keyboard key to achieve this?

Could you clarify which letters you're trying to type? That might help in finding a solution!

I'm trying to get 'la' in Arabic, which looks like 'لا'.
