Why is eDiscovery Downloading So Slow from Purview?

Hey everyone! Lately, I've been struggling with downloading large files from the Purview portal. A few weeks back, the eDiscovery export tool made it super quick to download these files using a key, but now it seems I have to do it through the browser, and it's taking forever! The UI has changed a lot, and there's no option for a 'key' anymore—just a simple 'Download' button. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Thanks! PS: I'm thinking of trying out a download manager to speed things up.

If you’ve switched to the new eCases tool instead of the old eDiscovery, keep in mind that the downloads don't utilize the previous export tool. Personally, I haven’t had too many issues with download speed on my end, though I've only done a few exports with this newer system.

I didn’t even see an option to switch back to the old tool!

I haven't exactly noticed the same issue, but when it comes to larger file sizes, I've experienced that occasionally clicking the Download button doesn’t yield any results at all. This seems to happen mainly with exports that are several GBs. Small exports work fine though. Honestly, I'm a bit frustrated with the changes; it feels like a downgrade overall.

My experience with it has been quite the opposite! The content search and generating review sets have actually been a lot faster than I anticipated. I’m glad I don’t have to deal with the hassle of ActiveX plugins anymore. Just a heads up, I always use the Edge browser and it’s been smooth sailing for downloads!
