Which Linux Distro Loads Entirely Into RAM with Persistence?

I'm looking for a lightweight Linux distribution that can fully load into RAM from a USB drive. It should come with basic tools like a word processor and a spreadsheet application, as well as Firefox. Additionally, I want to ensure that it has persistence so I can save my files, including the ability to keep my browsing history, extensions, and preferences for Firefox. Any recommendations? Thanks!

I actually found a workaround that worked for me. I used two USBs: one for the installer and another for installation. I booted from the installer, then inserted the second USB to install the distro there. It worked great!

That's interesting! Did you have a specific distro in mind for that setup?

MXLinux is a solid choice; it has all the necessary tools you need. AntiX is another good option to consider.

Just a heads-up, going for persistence might defeat the purpose of a live USB, but you could consider using a Live ISO with persistence and LUKS for encryption.
