Help! My new 5070 Ti graphics card is causing a black screen issue

I just installed a new 5070 Ti graphics card, but I'm having trouble. The first time I started my PC, it booted to the desktop, but everything looked off—my resolution seemed out of date and my icons were huge. Then, I got a popup saying my graphics card wasn't detected, and when I clicked okay, my screen went completely black. Now, whenever I restart, I see the TUF startup logo but it goes black after that. I checked the BIOS, and the graphics card isn't showing there either. Can anyone help?
Here are my system specs: Ryzen 2700x, ROG Strix 1200x platinum, and NZXT Kraken 360 elite cooling.

Have you tried using a different PCIe slot? It's also worth double-checking whether the PCIe cables from your PSU are providing enough power to the GPU.

I'm using a 16bit and a Rog 2bit connection from the PSU to the GPU and it’s rated for 600w, so I thought that should be enough. The GPU came with a 16bit cable that splits into three 8bit connections, but I haven’t used that.

Sounds good, just make sure they’re all firmly connected. Sometimes loose cables can cause these issues.

First off, make sure all your GPU power cables are securely connected and try reseating the card. If that doesn’t work, switch to a different PCIe slot if you can. Alternatively, you could boot with your old GPU, update the BIOS and chipset, and then reinstall the 5070 Ti once those are updated.
