Why Does My PC Keep Saying ‘No Internet, Secured’?

I've been having a persistent issue with my internet connection on my PC. Whenever I try to connect to my home network, it often says "No Internet, Secured." However, if I connect to my phone's hotspot—which is linked to the same network—everything works perfectly. This problem seems to happen exclusively with my PC and only on this network. Occasionally, the connection will stabilize and show "Internet, secured," but after a few hours, it reverts back to the original problem. I've tried several solutions, like restarting the network, changing various settings, and toggling WiFi on and off, but nothing seems to fix it for long. I'm currently using Windows 11, and my mobile hotspot data is running low, so I'm looking for any advice that could help!

Another possibility could be your DNS settings. Sometimes, the default DNS can lead to connectivity issues. I recommend setting your DNS servers to Google's (8.8.8.8 for primary and 208.67.222.222 for secondary) and see if that clears things up. Also, just double-check your router settings to make sure everything is in order.

This issue often boils down to your network adapter drivers. Make sure to download the latest drivers specifically for your adapter by uninstalling the old ones and installing the new. Sometimes, outdated drivers can really mess with your connection.

It sounds like this might be related to your VPN or some network security software you have installed. Sometimes programs like Bitdefender or McAfee can interfere with network connections. If you're running any of those, consider disabling them temporarily to see if it helps. If that's not it, let's keep troubleshooting!

I don't have any VPN or security apps right now, but interestingly, the issue seems to have resolved itself for now. Thanks for the tip!
