Hey everyone! I'm currently using a Ryzen 5 5600 with a 6650XT, and I usually game at 1080p, but I have plans to upgrade to 1440p in the future. I play quite a few CPU-bound games, particularly from Paradox. I came across a used AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D for 170€ and was considering buying it. If I sell my current CPU, I might get around 40-60€ back, which could help offset the cost. Do you think this upgrade is worth it, or should I explore other options? Appreciate your thoughts!

Upgrading to the Ryzen 7 5700X3D is a solid step, but don't forget about your GPU! You might need to upgrade that if you want a smoother experience at 1440p.
Honestly, I'd prioritize upgrading your GPU before the CPU. If you can sell your 6650XT and get something like a 6900XT, you'll notice a major performance boost. You can always upgrade the CPU later!
That's a good point! My only concern is about how soon I can do the CPU upgrade later, especially since the 5700X3D isn't being manufactured anymore, and I might end up having to get a new motherboard too.
