Hey everyone! This is my first time posting here. I'm considering making the switch from my PS5 to a gaming PC and need some advice. I want to build a PC that can match or even surpass the performance of the PS5 Pro. Here are the components I've picked out based on a YouTube guide:
- **Motherboard**: Gigabyte B550M Aorus Elite Rev. 1.3 (AMD AM4, Micro ATX, DDR4)
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X (3.4GHz, 4.6GHz Max Turbo, 36MB Cache, AM4)
- **GPU**: RX 7700XT Gaming 12G (12GB GDDR6)
- **RAM**: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB, 3600MHz, DDR4)
- **SSD**: SanDisk Plus NVMe SSD 1TB (M.2, PCle Gen3)
- **Power Supply**: XPG Kyber 850W (80 Plus Gold)
- **Gaming Case**: Redragon Wideload Lite (Mid-Tower, ATX)
- **Cooler**: Water Cooler Rise Mode ARGB (360mm)
- Plus 6 120mm fans!
I also have an interest in learning photo and video editing, Blender, and programming. Do you think these components will meet my needs?

You should definitely consider your total budget and what monitor you're planning to use. If you're going for 1440p, the components you listed are solid. For 1080p, you might be able to scale back on the GPU a bit. Also, looking ahead, you might want to think about AM5 options for more upgrade potential without changing the motherboard. It sounds great for what you're planning to do!
Have you already bought those components or are you still in the planning phase? It might be worth waiting for sales or considering slightly different options if they haven't been purchased yet.
I haven't bought them yet, just gathering info first.
I'll be using my Samsung QN90C TV as my main monitor and a 24" monitor as my second.
