I'm having trouble booting my Surface Pro 7 from a USB drive. The drive is bootable and I use it regularly, but when I try to boot from it, it just won't work. I've tried holding down various F keys while powering the device on, but nothing happens. The BIOS is set to recognize the USB as the first boot option. I read that ARM CPUs might not boot from NTFS formatted drives, so I formatted the drive to FAT32, but that hasn't helped either. I'm using SCCM for imaging, and PXE booting also doesn't seem to work for this model. Most resources point to older Surface models with physical volume buttons, but this one doesn't have those. What am I missing?

You might want to check if your Surface Pro 7 actually has an ARM CPU. If so, make sure whatever you're trying to boot is compiled for ARM, not x86 or AMD64. That's crucial for it to work.
