I'm planning on building a high-end PC in the next couple of months and I want to keep the cost under $2000. This will be my first time putting together a build, so I'd really appreciate any suggestions you might have for parts. Here's what I'm currently looking at:
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 4.7 GHz 8-Core Processor
- **CPU Cooler**: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE 66.17 CFM CPU Cooler
- **Motherboard**: Asus B650E MAX GAMING WIFI W ATX AM5 Motherboard
- **RAM**: Crucial Pro Overclocking 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) DDR5-6400 CL40 Memory
- **SSD**: Crucial P3 Plus 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive
- **GPU**: MSI SHADOW 3X OC GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16 GB Video Card
- **Case**: Lian Li Lancool 207 ATX Mid Tower Case
- **Power Supply**: Corsair RM850e (2025) 850 W Fully Modular ATX Power Supply
Also, any tips on building and the best times to score good parts would be awesome. Thanks, everyone!

Just a heads-up about that Crucial P3 Plus SSD. It uses QLC flash, which has lower durability compared to TLC options, and might lead to performance drops in a few years. I’d suggest checking out a TLC drive like the WD Blue SN5000 instead!
I spotted something about the power supply. The Corsair RM850e is okay, but I’ve seen it rated as B Tier for reliability. If you're investing this much, I’d go for A Tier products like the RMx series. You can build something amazing with around $2000, just pick a case that suits your style!
I checked out the links you shared, but the $1800 5070ti build looks private, unfortunately!
Thanks for the tip!
