Has anyone else been experiencing problems with the recent Windows updates reverting MSVCP140.dll to an older version? Our deployment strategy hasn't changed, and users don't have admin rights since all software comes from Intune. After the latest updates, we've noticed that MSVCP140.dll has reverted to version 14.13.26020.0, while the up-to-date version was 14.44.35211.0. This is causing many applications to fail to launch or throw errors related to the DLL. Even though repairing or reinstalling the Visual C++ package provides a temporary solution, the issue recurs with the next update. I've also observed that some users are affected while others are not. I've checked all logs and even ran a clean install of Visual C++ just to be hit with this regression after the updates. I'm looking for any insights or solutions!

I really wish Microsoft would take responsibility for the mess they create with every patch Tuesday. The regressions are getting out of hand!
I've had to reinstall the C++ framework on over 15 machines in the past couple of months due to these problems.
I ran into a similar problem where opening a DWG file crashed File Explorer. Reinstalling C++ didn’t resolve it, and I ended up copying over the DLL from a working PC.
I've noticed there are two updates for C++ available (X86 and x64 - 14.44.35211.0) in ManageEngine, but I haven't approved them yet. Maybe that could help?
