Hey everyone! My phone has been acting super weird for a couple of months now—it's been slow and glitchy. I even factory reset it, but a few days later, it returned to its old, frustrating ways. I've been getting random websites popping up uninvited, and old tabs that I've closed suddenly reopen hours later. To top it off, this morning a bunch of tabs opened and closed on their own, and then my phone just restarted out of nowhere. I'm trying to figure out what's going on and deleting unnecessary stuff to clean it up. I'm wondering if I should just get a new phone, like I've been considering, or if I should change my passwords and set up two-factor authentication. The thing is, I can't really afford a VPN or anything like that right now. Any advice?

This definitely sounds like either a software issue or an underpowered device. For now, have you tried clearing your browser's cookies, cache, and history? Sometimes that helps fix weird browsing problems. Also, check your router for any unknown connections—you can find a tool online for that. And yeah, enabling two-factor authentication on your accounts is a smart move!
It sounds like your phone might have restored from a backup when you did the factory reset, which can sometimes bring back the same issues. Have you checked to see if you're running the latest version of your operating system? It could also just be that your phone's hardware is struggling. Make sure to keep everything updated!
You should definitely run a full scan with Malwarebytes, just to be on the safe side. That can help catch any potential malware or issues. If it turns out your email and location got exposed, change your passwords immediately and possibly consider a password manager to keep track of everything. Staying secure online is super important!
I ran the scan, and now I'm worried about my email exposure. What steps should I take to fix this?
