Why is My RAM Stuck at 4800MHz Instead of 6000MHz?

Hey everyone! I recently upgraded to 96GB of Corsair Vengeance DDR5 RAM running at 6000MHz CL30. I enabled EXPO II in my BIOS, but when I check the DRAM status, it only shows 4800MHz. My current VDD voltage is at 1.4V, and the target RAM frequency is 6000MHz, so I'm confused about why I'm not getting that speed. Do I need to adjust any settings, like turning on high DRAM voltage mode? Here's my build for context: Ryzen 9 7950X, 4070 Ti Super, and Asus TUF X670E Plus WiFi. Any ideas on how to resolve this?

It sounds like you might need to check a couple of settings in your BIOS. First, make sure that EXPO II is properly enabled. Sometimes, even if it looks like it’s activated, it might not be applying the settings correctly. Also, double-check if you have the correct voltage settings. While 1.4V is typically what's needed for 6000MHz, sometimes you may need to increase the voltage slightly to stabilize the RAM at that speed. If it’s still not working, try resetting the BIOS to default and then re-enable EXPO II to see if that helps.

Thanks, I'll give that a shot! I’ll make sure to re-enable it properly and check the voltage settings again. Appreciate the help!
